　　在关于果子的方块字中，我觉得“枸杞”两个音节最具古意，一看就知道是古老的“中国制造”。这种鲜红透亮的小小果实，其实蕴藏着巨大的能量，最能体现四两拨千斤的深刻意蕴。
　　
　　按照毕飞宇的说法，枸杞是“最为疯狂的植物种类”。他在小说《枸杞子》中说他们家乡“每年盛夏河岸沟谷都要结满籽粒，红得炯炯有神。大片大片的血红倒映在河水的底部，对着蓝天白云虎视眈眈。”小说中“父亲”“采了两筐枸杞子，哼着《十八摸》上路”，这里有肆无忌惮的不怀好意。

　　疯狂的枸杞背后是疯狂的人们，欲望永远没有尽头。在古代，枸杞是延年益寿的公认宝物，所谓“枝繁本是仙人杖，根老能成瑞犬形。上品功能甘露味，还知一勺可延龄。”这是唐朝刘禹锡的肺腑之言。老刘是当朝的上流人物，他的意见自然属于主流。宋朝《太平圣惠方》说：某使者出差西河，遇一妙龄女子追打一耄耋老人，老者连忙躲闪。使者拦住问她：“此老何人？”女子答：“我曾孙。”使者惊问缘由。那女子说：“家有良药，他不肯服食，才变得如此老态，所以要罚他。”问她年龄，那女子的回答惊得使者仰倒：“我今年372岁！”原因只在她“春吃枸杞叶，夏食其花，秋服其果，冬采其根，一年四季均吃枸杞子。”
　　
　　玄是玄了点，但是说到了本质。祖国医学认为，枸杞“滋阴补肾”，是治疗肾阴不足、性功能减退的良药。古人云：“离家千里，莫食枸杞。”意思很明显，出门在外的男子，如若大吃枸杞，就会性欲旺盛，欲火难熬，以致损肝伤身。

　　古训毕竟是迂腐的。这话要搁今天的电视广告上，肯定会被解构为：“离家千里，幸有枸杞。”
